The Group
The group activity will predominantly be members painting subjects of their own choice with help and advice from the leader. Discussion on techniques and tips will be encouraged over friendly chat and a cuppa.
The leader could give demonstrations of various techniques sharing her experience. There could also be painting on themes decided by the group giving the opportunity to discuss differing interpretations. Every effort will be made to make an enjoyable and rewarding activity.
Members of the group will need to bring their own canvas/acrylic paper, photo of what they would like to paint, paints and brushes and a jar or container to put water in. Please email the leader if you need advice on what to buy.
The Leader
Hi my name is Ali and I love painting in acrylics. I have loved art since I was a child. I have had no formal training. Painting is just a passion! I started selling my paintings at the Verwood Memorial Hall craft and produce market on Friday mornings and have now added a range of coasters printed from my artwork. I have been so pleased with the response so far.
