My Membership Application won't send
This normally happens when all the required questions haven't been answered. Go through the form again and make sure you answer all 'Required' questions. The form is sent when you see the 'Success' page. There is no need to send multiple forms once you see the Success page.
Do I need to make payment at the same time as submitting the membership form?
In word YES! The longer you leave sending in your membership form or payment the harder and more time it takes for us to tie them up. That could mean a delay in renewing your membership and creating more work for us. We have nearly 400 member applications to process. Please remember, we're volunteers, help us to help you.
Who are the Committee and how do I contact them?
Please go to the Committee page. It can be found in the main menu. Click the down arrow next to 'About Us' and then click 'Committee'.
How do I join the committee?

Contact the Group Coordinator in the first instance who will help you.
We're always looking to increase our activities we offer to members so we would love to hear from you.
I've seen a group I would like to go to on the calendar, Can I just turn up?
No, please don't just turn up at a group session without contacting the Group Leader first. There may not be room for you and we would hate to cause you any embarrassment by turning you away.
Why does it cost more to join Verwood u3a than some other u3a's
Verwood u3a charges an annual fee that ensures we have enough income to hire all the required venues throughout the year. Many other u3as have a lower membership fee but then charge for each attendance at a venue that is hired. This can be significantly more expensive for the member over the course of a year.
Is there free Legal Advice for u3a members?
Yes there is. Click the 'Free Legal Advice' link in the footer of nearly every page on our website and you will get the information you need.
